Biography

Dr. Octagon is but one of many of Kool Keith's alter egos. Under the Dr. Octagon moniker, his initial release was 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, on which he collaborated with Dan The Automator Nakamura and DJ Q-Bert. After the moniker was killed off in favour of Dr. Doom, it was widely believed that it wouldn't be used again, until the release of 2006's The Return of Dr. Octagon. The original album acheived critical acclaim and was a springboard for Dan The Automator's young career, but Dan the Automator and Keith have been reported to have had a falling out.
