Biography

Scouting for Girls were formed in late 2005 by Roy Stride (Lead Vocals/Keyboards), Greg Churchouse (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Peter Ellard (Percussion/Vocals). Their music encompasses a light hearted pop style reflecting on childhood innocence and experiences. The name Scouting for Girls is a play on words on the renowned Scouting for Boys handbook, first published in 1908 for the Scouts, which provides boys instructions on good citizenship.
