Biography

Crippled Black Phoenix is a post-rock band from the United Kingdom, formed in 2004 by members of Electric Wizard and Mogwai. Their debut album, A Love of Shared Disasters, was recorded at State of Art Studios in Bristol. Geoff Barrow(portishead), who is a part owner of the studio, produced the disc and released it on his own Invada Records. The band has described their own songs as "end time ballads.
