Biography

Glasgow 3-piece The Fratellis comprise Jon(vocals/guitar), Mince (drums/vocals) and Barry (bass). In an interview in The Sun newspaper, The Fratellis confirmed that their name is taken from bassist Barry, whose original surname is Fratelli; the other members of the band simply adopted that pseudonym. 'Fratelli' also means brothers in Italian. They've been described as the missing link between T-Rex and The Libertines and released their debut EP through Nomadic Records on April 3rd, 2006. They then released their first single, the infectiously catchy "Creepin' Up The Backstairs"
