Ladytron are a contemporary electropop band formed in Liverpool, England. The band takes their name from the song "Ladytron" on the 1972 self-titled début album of the band Roxy Music. Background: Ladytron formed in the summer of 1999 when Liverpool Musicians & DJs Reuben Wu and Daniel Hunt, met dual singers, Glaswegian Helen Marnie and Sofia, Bulgaria born Mira Aroyo.
