Biography

Young Jeezy (born Jay L. Jenkins in Columbia, SC) grew up in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He currently resides in the metro-Atlanta area. He is an American rapper who is signed to Def Jam Records as a solo artist. Before he moved to a solo career, he was a part of the rap group Boyz N da Hood. Fitting in with the Southern style so popular in the current age, Jeezy raps frequently about his experiences selling drugs in the streets of Atlanta.
