Jessica Ann Simpson (born July 10, 1980) is an American pop singer who has gone country, author, and actress who rose to fame during the late 1990s. Simpson has released five albums in her career: Sweet Kisses (1999), Irresistible (2001), In This Skin (2003), A Public Affair (2006) and Do You Know (2008), which sports her new country sound. She also released two Extra Plays (EPs): This is the Remix (2002) and Rejoyce: The Christmas Album (2004).
