Biography

The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian metalcore band formed in 2005, in Dayton, Ohio. They are currently signed to Ferret Records and have amassed a large underground following on PureVolume and MySpace. Although the band's inspiration for their name was from Lauren Weisberger's novel, The Devil Wears Prada, lead-singer Mike Hranica states this in the band's blog (www.myspace.com/tdwp): "It's the same concept as our lyrics "emeralds hold no hope" and many many others. What we believe it to mean is that possessions don't matter at all and someday everyone will realize that this is true.
